Adidas needs a win. Within the past year, they lost the sponsorship rights to the German national soccer team to Nike, lost Yeezy collaborator Ye to a right wing Internet rabbit hole, and posted their first annual loss in thirty years. Were that not embarrassment enough, shortly after law enforcement raids on Diddy’s homes, the company released a “White Party” edition of their James Harden signature shoe – on April Fool’s Day, no less.

If there’s been a saving grace for Adidas this year, it’s been the emergence of Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards as a burgeoning NBA superstar. Edwards’ first signature shoe, the AE1, launched at a throwback price of $120 in January, and his viral highlights have kept them fresh in fans’ minds ever since.

The “Georgia Clay” colorway, made famous by Edwards’ explosive throw-in over Utah Jazz forward John Collins, hits shelves on April 4^th.

I was today year’s old when I found out what the EQT cw was lol… the only place I’ve seen them at was Block of Orange.

So far I’ve gotten those, all-star, T-Wolves and lime green ones. Basically 4 for the price of one (small discount added on top)

A low? lol they are basically giving the twos away. I imagine the og design would have to do numbers before they consider a modified version. I still can’t believe they did so poorly

Yeah, the Future/ASG joints are absolutely my favorite colorway so far - iridescent purple is always a vibe to me. I’m so impressed with adidas and the great work they’ve done on these. :pimp:

Got em at adidas noho yesterday. 11.5 (my true nike size in jordan 1, dunk air max 1) fit in store when I tried on with factory lacing. Normally I wear 12 in nike/jordan hoops. So I thought I was good for 11.5, but I rocked em casually today and they definitely loosened up. I wound up lacing to the top eyelet. I'm tryna think if I wanna try cleaning up and exchanging for 11, or swapping insoles. I love em though.

The Storm Troopers don't come with extra laces, but I found some extra laces I had. And I've notice AE himself uses, an SB type lace instead of the rope laces. Probably bc the rope laces get undone easier.
