LeBron James continues to put up impressive numbers in year 22, and Nike is hoping this latest installment in his venerable signature sneaker line can do the same.

The Nike LeBron XXII continues a trend that began with the Nike LeBron XX, which broke from the tradition of pairing high volume visible Nike Air cushioning in a high top silhouette. Like the XX and XXI before it, the Nike LeBron XXII features a low cut design that relies on encapsulated Zoom Air cushioning units. A low profile Zoom Air bag is mounted to the top of a Cushlon 2.0 foam midsole, while heel cushioning is provided by a thicker, bottom mounted Zoom Air unit.

The phrase “signature line” has never been more literal, as the upper is defined by a single, swooping line that creates both the iconic Nike Swoosh on either side and LeBron James’ signature around the heel.

The Nike LeBron XXII is available now in debut “Crown Jewel” and Monopoly-licensed “Currency” colorways, with a 3M-paneled “Blacklight” version slated for a December 6th release.

21s. Definitely a missed opportunity. Akoya, Freshwater, Grandma Couch, Tahiti and Dragon Pearl. The Algae were what he broke Kareem’s record in.

22. So far Tunnel Vision and Crown Jewel on disco seem to be the only decent ones so far.

I forgot the Dragon Pearls, I like those too. 21 is kind of tricky now that I think about it cause we’re getting the Deion pair this year which if released last year (season) would’ve been another purchase.

What if we get the Drew Leagues or Record Breakers next year? 😂

High praise from FDZ

I was able to try them on today at DSG… didn’t really notice the weight difference. Felt pretty similar to the 21… can def feel the saddle, had like a cradling effect on my foot. Will probably grab a pair down the road, this colorway kinda growing on me.. looks good in person.
